Chelsey Brown is the founder of City Chic Decor, a guide to stylish rental and budget-friendly decorating, and is globally recognized for her work in genealogy, returning lost heirlooms back to family members and descendants. Chelsey recognized the significant lack of content around rental decor and created her blog to reduce the stigma around rental decorating. City Chic Decor has grown exponentially since its 2017 launch, now with over 100,000 subscribers and a book entitled Rental Style, published by Skyhorse Publishing in May 2020. Chelsey’s second book, Shut the Front Door, published by Gibbs Smith, will be released in 2023. While thrifting for her blog, Chelsey discovers lost heirlooms and has now returned hundreds of heirlooms to families worldwide without compensation or reimbursement. These journals are currently on sale for $38 for a limited time. The price reflects the quality of the paper (120 GSM), binding, and other magnificent details that went into the making of the one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Unlike other legacy journals, this keepsake has a pocket in the back for photos and mementos you don’t wish to tape or glue into the journal. Additionally, there are extra sections for recipes, family heirlooms, important dates, additional questions, and notes from future generations. The detail that went into this journal allows you also to display it as an heirloom or coffee table book if you choose to.

Extra care and detail went into the packaging, especially for those who are gifting this to a loved one. The mailer box Size is 280X200X50mm, and the material is 300g Kraft paper+K9 corrugated paper. The logo is white foil.

This journal was designed with special paper that can withstand heavy writing and photos. I recommend using double-sided tape to tape in photos, or using the pocket in the packet for mementos you don’t wish to tamper with.
